qualcuno conosce un programma che converta i video scaricati da you tube e li trasformi in formato 3gp per cellulare che gira su ubuntu 8.04 ho visto pytube ma non riesco a istallarlo mi da questo errore :

Forse, bisogna prima aggiungere il repository adatto.

Da terminale:

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Aggiungere questa linea: deb http://www.bashterritory.com/pytube/releases /
Salva ed Esci.

Quindi:

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install pytube

E' indicata anche una seconda procedura per l'installazione di Pytube; inoltre viene precisato quanto di seguito: Note: This application requires ffmpeg compiled with mp4 and 3gp support wich can be found on the Medibuntu repository.

Il browser Firefox ha tra i componenti aggiuntivi DownloadHelper che permette di convertire i files .mp4 e .flv in 3gp. Dopo averlo scaricato, da terminale:
sudo apt-get install ffmpeg

DownloadHelper ha l'opzione di conversione, l'ho provata ora ma in effetti alla fine mi dice che è fallita la conversione da .flv. Purtroppo non so cosa dirti. Tra l'altro DownloadHelper mi permette la conversione dei files in .wmv ma non in .mp3

La conversione per 3gp di DownloadeHelper sotto Windows funziona senza problemi. Sempre sotto Windows esiste l'ottimo Format Factory che converte tutto. In casi come questo apprezzo sempre di più il fatto di poter caricare due S.O. in dual boot; dove non arriva Xp arriva Mint e viceversa.
