Ho dovuto reinstallare UBUNTU 8.04, e ora non riesco più a connettermi ad Internet.
Sotto allego i vari passi da me fatti per configurare la connessione, modem, e tentativo di collegamento con le schermate di ritorno.
Da terminale con il comando “wdialconf” ottengo la seguente schermata:

Eseguendo la riga di comando “sudo gedit /etc/wvdial.conf” mi compaiono solo le righe “Phone”, “Username” , “Password” e “New PPPD”Manualmente ho inserito le rimanenti righe (ho usato la stampata della precedente configurazione, prima di reinstallare UBUNTU):

Quando, usando il terminale, digito “wvdial” il modem tenta di connettersi ma non ci riesce., e mi ritorna le seguenti righe. Qualcuno può aiutarmi ? Ho già formattato e reinstallato UBUNTU 2 volte.
