Così ad occhio le uniche cose che potrebbero influire sono le voci riferite a Synaptic e a ClassicShell

Se proprio vuoi vedere 'ste lucine accese o provi una reinstallazione da zero di Win, o provi a togliere programmi un po' alla volta, Synaptic-ClassicShell-ATI CCC-altro

Pensavo avessi lasciato perdere...

Altra prova che dovresti fare, non so se l'hai già fatta o te l'hanno consigliata, entra nel BIOS e da li provi le varie combinazioni di tasti per far accendere i led: maiusc-tast num-blocco scorr-gli altri che hai, se funzionano allora potrebbe essere un guaio software, altrimenti è hardware e a meno di smontare fisicamente la tastiera e verificare i suoi connettori flat non saprei cos'altro consigliare
