Come riportato nelle System Requirements dell'ultima versione 60.3.1 Commenta:Please note that while the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows can be used to run Thunderbird, only 32-bit builds of Thunderbird are supported at this time.

Come ti ha specificato bobo, Thunderbird per ora supporta solo i 32bit.
Oggi ho aggiornato alla 60.3.1 tutto ok.
