Da alcune settimane, sul mio pc con Windows Xp, quando cerco di arrestare il sistema, appare la finestra di Sysfader che cerca di "terminare il programma": puntualmente ciò non succede e la finestra si ricarica all'infinito, per cui devo forzare lo spegnimento tenendo il tasto premuto...
Quando poi riaccendo non appare akcuna segnalazione di spegnimento anomalo etutto funziona regolarmente.
Ho fatto varie ricerche sul web, sia in Italia che all'estero, visto che sono quasi 5 anni che questo problema viene segnalato sui forum, ma nessuno (mi sembra) fornisce una soluzione.
Non è un virus ne un malware, probabilmente è legato alla scheda video (la mia è una Intel).
Ho fatto tutte le scansioni possibili (CC Cleaner, Ad aware, Spy Bot, Antivirus, Windows Defender....) ma non viene segnalato nulla di pericoloso.
Qualcuno sa come fare a togliere questa "seccatura"...

Ecco una probabile spiegazione e la correlata metodologia di soluzione (in lingua inglese, ovviamente):

Sysfader is not a virus. It seems to be installed with nVidia drivers.
My display driver is provided by nVidia. It offers all kinds of options and one of them is the culprit. The solution is Go to START > CONTROL PANEL > DISPLAY > NVIDIA NVIEW DESKTOP MANAGER > tab DESKTOP MANAGEMENT > PROPERTIES > tab APPEARANCE > EFFECTS and uncheck the FADE EFFECT option. God knows what it does but unchecking it solves the problem.

They seem to point to turning off Transition Effects in IE and Effects in Display Properties.
SysFader is not really a process, yet it is spawned as a process by a dll named browseui.dll when Internet Explorer wants to use transition effects. As is the design of win2k and winXP, IE is everywhere and these transition effects are also used when you exit your computer.
